1. About these terms

This website, toynish.in ("Site"), is operated by Toynish ("Toynish", "we", "us"), based in Channapatna, Karnataka 562160, India. By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or using the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order.

3. Products and safety

Our products are handcrafted from natural wood using traditional Channapatna techniques. Because each piece is handmade, minor variations in colour, grain, and finish are normal and expected. Product images are representative; the item you receive may vary slightly.

Please follow the age recommendations shown on each product page. Toys intended for children under 3 should be used under adult supervision. Inspect toys regularly and discontinue use if any part becomes loose or damaged.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely through our payment partners (including Razorpay), supporting UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets. We never store your card or banking details.

Despite our best efforts, a product may occasionally be mispriced or listed with incorrect information. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order placed for a mispriced product, whether or not the order has been confirmed.

5. Orders

An order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, where fraud is suspected, stock is unavailable, or delivery to your address is not serviceable — in which case any amount paid will be refunded in full.

6. Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within India only. Standard shipping is free on all orders and typically takes 5–8 business days; express options may be offered at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, or events beyond our control. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

7. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy: unused items in original packaging may be returned within 3 days of delivery, and damaged or defective items reported within 48 hours are replaced or refunded free of charge.

8. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by: attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data; placing fraudulent orders; scraping or harvesting content for commercial purposes without permission; transmitting malware; or using the Site in violation of any applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Toynish name and logo, product photography, descriptions, and page designs — is owned by or licensed to Toynish and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use it commercially without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toynish's total liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be limited by agreement.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Toynish against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions, courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.

13. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer: [Grievance Officer name], email hello@toynish.in, phone +91 81055 51474. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you place an order applies to that order.
